1985 Supra TS6M 351 inboard has the plywood bottom to the 3 cusions in the rear bench rotting. These get wet every time a skier enters from the swim platform. The upholstry was replaced 10 years back and appears fine. I've read about the need to use SS staples. What type of plywood should be used to replace the rotted. Pressure treated? Exterior grade? Does it need to be sealed or glassed? Thanks in advance.

Where does one get sheet plastic? I've had this boat for about 15 years and plan to keep it for the long term.

Sheet plastic in the thickness needed is going to be way too expensive. Just replace the wood and then, under the seats use a couple of strips of 1/2 ply to raise them and let air get under. You also need to drill several 1/2 inch holes in the fiberglass bases to let free water drain out.
