I've posted earlier on the problem...Here is whats happening. While sitting on my trailer with the motor down, I am leaking foot oil above the Vent/Drain Plugs on the foot of my motor. I can smell the oil, its honey colored and smells just like the Penzoil LU oil I put in it a month ago. It looks like its leaking where the shift rod goes down into the foot. Is it possible for it to leak above the fill/vent holes yet not in the water??? I wipe it off every afternoon after getting home. Does it overflow after sitting in the hot sun? When I take it in the water there is a small slick, along with the smell of this oil. I plan on draining the entire LU and putting in new fill/drain gaskets this weekend to see what kind of oil/water I have. Any thoughts? This seem strange to me. Thanks!
