Heres the story... went out 4th of July weekend to a filthy mudhole called a lake with my new to me ('04) boat. Well after two days of sittin in the water there is a brownish waterline on the boat. I did wipe it down when I took it out of the water but it is still there. I also did a quick wash with marine boat wash. Any ideas on how to remove it short of a harsh hull cleaner? Also there are some dull spots in the gelcoat as well. How do you guys keep tour boat shiny? Thanks

Go to the hardware store and buy a box of TSP..its in powder form..mix it up apply with a spray bottle..keep it wet...stains will dissipate.

Mr. Clean sponges work wonders (don't get the ones with the abrasive side if you can, don't use the abrasive side if you do). I used it with great results, and washed it down normally and re-waxed.

Walmart sells Hull Cleaner for about $7.35 for a quart. Spray on with a spray bottle and hose off, it is that good.
