i have a mercruiser mcm 165 that has a sludge problem i have the upper half apart to find oily sludge in the valve cover the push rod valley also on the dip stick any sugesstions i just got a head gasket set and gettin ready to replace them. i found the sludge mainly on the intake side the sludge was more in the last cylinder towards the prop.
