My boat refuses to start after running great all last summer. I have replaced all the old gas with fresh, and put in new plugs and all it will do is turn and not start.

I think I might need to replace the distributor cap, rotor button, points, and condenser. However, I live in a place not close to any marine store. Where can I find the part numbers that correspond to non-marine engines so I can go to the local parts house?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Once I've checked and have spark, is there a place where I could get the other part numbers minus the cap?

If you have spark i would verify you are getting fuel to the carb.

An auto parts store could probably match up the points but it sounds like that may not be the problem.

Its best to find the problem before changing a bunch of parts...
If its getting spark pour a little gas down the carb and see if it fires...
