I'm having a couple of perplexing problems with the tilt/trim on my motor:
1) The previous owner had the trim switch wired to some sort of manual relay, then to the switch on the controls. It worked OK but you have to hold both buttons down just right to get it to work. I would really like to add a real relay or solenoid, but I'm really confused about how to wire it. The trim motor is two wire.
2) The trim motor isn't working this year all. Unfortunately, I can't get access to it unless I remove the upper piston eye from the motor. The shaft that holds the eye in place is completely stuck. I'm in the process of drilling it out, but would love advice if there's an easier way.
