Got an M70A, been cleaning up the boat, girlfriend got it from her brother.

Runs good @ home, took it out this weekend, ran great at first, after about 30 minutes on the water, seemed to lose power, seems to me like running @ 75%, wouldn't plain out anymore.

Had the stream of water shooting out, so the water pump seems to be pumping, and even stopped for an hour and let it sit, but it never got full power back.

Now back at home, anything to check? does this thing have points? and any sites that have repair manual??

Clean carbs. Manuals are available at any dealer.

sweet. can I get a carb kit at any dealer I assume? anyone got a part number?

I don't think the carb kits are available for the M70A any more. But you can probably still buy all the individual parts that make up the kit. Good online source is www.internetoutboards.com. You can also order a service manual from them as well. And download a free copy of the parts catalog for 70A.

I didn't see the M70A carb kit listed under his "carb kit" parts section so I assume it's no longer available as a "kit". You may just need to email them and ask them about it though.
