Force 50 lower unit leaking

I went to put new oil in my lower unit today and a milky mess ran out...... How difficult is it to reseal the lower unit so it doesnt take on water?

It depends on where the leak is.
If its coming in through the driveshaft seals, or the shift shaft seals, or the drain and vent screws, its pretty easy. If its leaking at the prop shaft, its gonna be a chore.

You can pressure test the lower unit in a tub of water, using 2 or 4 pounds of air pressure, to locate the bad seal.

How do I do that? Is there an adapter to connect a tire pump to the drain screw or do i pump in more oil?
