Hello all, first time poster here, but I had a question and thought maybe some people on this board could offer some advice.
I have a little green rowboat, roughly 12 feet in length, that has been giving me awful fiberglass (I believe) rashes on my arms and enough is enough. I'm assuming that the boat was never properly sealed/coated and the little fiberglass shards rub off and scratch me.
What exactly do I need to do to go about fixing this problem? I was thinking I need some type of clearcoat, but truthfully, I have no idea. I've varnished and sealed wood before, but I didn't know if it was the same process.
