I have a Mariner 30hp (yamaha version) Model# 30AE689 401221? that will only run half thottle. Good compression, clean carb. I also had a Yamaha 40HP about the same year a while back that acted EXACTLY the same. The Yamaha dealer unplugged the "overheat sensor" and cured it. Does anyone know which wire is to the "overheat sensor" on this model? I thought it would be worth a try. As always, any help would be appreciated.
