I recently put this 50hp evinrude lark on my 24ft pontoon boat at first i was only getting about 10mph,I have since done a complete tuneup and cleaned carbs now im getting approx 18-24 mph speed is bieng calculated with my gps unit ,does this seen correct for this size motor?Just curious how fast it should actually go im happy with what im getting now.Any input would be greatly appreciated,Thanks

Yup - good speed for that sized pontoon.

Thanks for the feedback on the speed.The 18mph is with the canopy top up and 24 is with it down i have the canvas top, boy the wind really blows the boat around with it up.
