02 mercury 225 efi stalling at 30mph

My 02 225 merc runs real rough and stalls around 35 mph. It seems to have something to do with the main plug on the engine. Also noticed after trimming up the engine it stalls more frequently, the volt meter goes crazy before it stall. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Make sure you have good voltage on you starting battery. EFI's will do strange things on a weak battery. Also check you main wiring harness on starboard size. Check all grounds and connections.

Thanks blazer81.6, Im looking at replacing the voltage regulator but still not sure.
