Dreaded Bayliner L-Drive, repowerable?

So I can get a free 1990 Bayliner that has already had the busted L-Drive removed and discarded. The hull is in good shape, does anyone think I might be able to do something with this? Maybe some sort of inboard? Anyone have any ideas?

Nahhh... I wouldn't even take it for free. Actually I wouldn't take it if somebody paid me to take it.....
With money x time to actually make that hull do anything your better off buying a running boat with a modern power package.

Besides... its an 19 year old bayliner. They were never that great to start with and and probably water logged to high hell.
