how to disconect shift linkage in 1973 135hp evinrude

have all bolts out lower unit drops an inch but dont know how to disconect shift linkage

under the bottom carb is a bell crank. loosen the center bolt, and the 2 bars will separate, and you can slide the linkage out. no need to take blot all the way out.
