Does anyone know which years crestliner built the Marauder model? Attached is a photo of a boat I'm considering purchasing.

I found them listed from 1969 through 1982. Is there a serial number on the back? If there is a serail number, the last 2 numbers are the year. The serial number would be on the back of the transom in the upper right corner as you are looking at the rear of the boat.

Thanks, I didn't see a plate on the back of the transom, there was plate next to the throttle assembly and had a serial number (unless it was a model number) of M26282. the auction selling the boat listed it as a 1982 Crestliner until I pointed out a registration sticker on the back of the transom from 1971. I was guessing that it was a 1969 or 1970 model, so I feel much better knowing that it probably wasn't any older. Although I don't know why I feel any better, I'm not sure that a 1959 boat would be any less trouble than a 1969 at this point, but this would be my first boat purchase, so for my budget, the newer the better.
