I am trying to find away to install a temp sensor on my 1975 mercury 650. Has anyone done this if so can you tell me how. Here is the only wirring diagram I have for my motor.
They never had an option for a temp gauge, so the wiring must be all new. Most inlines didn't have thermostats. A few did. If you have one of those a temp gauge will have some value. If not, it has no value.
A water pressure gauge is a much better idea for all inlines. Get a 0-15 PSI model.
