Hi, I am not new to outboards, but have never done much work on them. I would like to do some basic rapairs and adjustments as needed myself now though, due to the economy and am looking for a good book with lots of pictures and good explanations on how to do it.
First, I believe my "new" motor is a 1990, going by the S/N I found on the plate, which says:
Mariner 9.9M

What I would like to do eventually and as needed is winterizing, [I live in Wisconsin], change the impeller, change the prop, which is chewed up, and it starts in one pull and idles fine, but runs very rough at higher RPM. I would like to adjust the carb, which is what it sounds like.
And, I would just like to have the book around to just in case. So any recommendations would be appreciated.
