Oil Bath Bearing Oil?

Hi guys and gals,
I have an EZ-loader trailer under my 18' Larson ski and fish. It has oil bath bearings and the manual says to use 50w or 90w. But no recommendation on milage interval to change the oil. Also what would be the advantage of 90 over 50 or vice-versa.

I await the knowledge of the gurus.

Thanks

i would check them often for water in the oil and i would change them at the end of the season(so if theirs any moisture in there it's not rusting all winter). the difference in your hubs and a flat bed's are you don't drive a flatbed in to water every trip

OK so end of season I will change oil, is 90w the best choice? trailer usually travels 50 miles one way. or less than a mile depending on the launch I use. I check for milky oil before every trip, any other things i should look for.

Be safe out there.
