Default First Wakeboard Purchase

I have never wakeboarded but my kids just took lessons and it's now all they want to do. I'd like to buy just one board if possible that would work for a small 11 year old, a 13 year old, and my wife and I (if there is such a board). I don't know anything about wakeboards, so any help you can give on boards that you think we should look at would be greatly appreciated.

I was in this boat a few months ago. I ended up hitting a good wakeboarding/skateboarding store and got some advice from the guy there. For a beginner adult, you buy for your weight. The more you weight=the longer the board. I imagine you'll be looking at at least two different boards. I ended up buying a Hyperlite state 145, it's a beginner/intermediate board with an easygoing rocker.

Hit a good store with a knowledgeable salesperson and you'll do fine. The first store I hit sold everything from auto parts to cat food. The 6'00"/400 lb salesguy knew some technically correct things, but I doubted his credibility or actual experience on a wakeboard.

I also looked on craigslist quite a bit, but make sure you know what you're looking for first.

I have an older HyperLite RPM wakeboard that I want to sell. I paid $275 for it and have decided that it is not for me. The bindings are tight on my feet so it should be perfect for younger and smaller children. We were going to post it on ebay, but if you are interested I could email you some pictures and see what you think.
