I know this is a lame question, but I cant seem to find it. Does anyone know where to find the serial number on a 1996 Force 120hp?

on id plate on starboard side of the transom mounting bracket.

Thanks Roscoe, I will check it out. I looked all over the place to find it and I found a lot of numbers that did not look like serial numbers. I was told that Force motots after '92 should start with "E". I am not sure if that is correct, but I read that on the forums.

If it is indeed a 1996 model, the serial number will be between
OE138600 and OE202999


Any other number you find would be a part casting number.

Unrelated, what is good oil for a 1996 Force 120hp?
