1986 Force 85 No spark in 1 & 3

Suspect spark problem in 1 & 3 cyl due to switch boxes. Any help with wiring coming from trigger housing to switch boxes? I have an extra 'channel' I could try to see if I can bring up one of the missing sparks.

Could another component problem be blowing the switch box channels? Appreciate any help I can get with this. Thanks

check the stator, it could be your problem. You can use your spare channel on the cdi box to see if that is the problem. You can also swap around the stator wires to see if the problem follows your swap. This is an easy way to test the stator.
