I am having a series of issues with my 1990 yamaha 115 V4 engine. To begin with I recently purchased it on a Shallow Sport Sprint 18 footer. First trial run out , I noticed the engine was not peeing right. I had the water pump fixed and went out for a second try. Second time out shift rod and a sensor issue ruined the trip. Had the shift rod fixed and a few other things. Third time out engine went into safe mode and would only putter. Safety alarm buzzer would not stop. Had the mechanic check it out and all he could do was check the sensors and disconnect the oil sensors cuz we are running running pre-mixed and the oil pump and reservoir had been removed. Went to try it out and under pressure, the alarm would keep turning on. tried to disconnect temp sensors and still alarm sounded. Disconnected guages and it still went off? Anyone got any ideas?
