Hi. New to the post here and glad I located you. I have a 1986 30 hp Evinrude on my pontoon. It fires up great and then when it is warmed up, stalls like it is either choking itself or starved for fuel when you give it the throttle. The frustrating thing is that it is inconsistent. Today, I started out and it sputtered out, I restarted it and cruised at low idle but when I gave it throttle it sputtered. Then while cruising again at low speed it suddenly woke up and took all the throttle I could give it and ran great. The fuel screen and filter are not plugged, the carburator and float have been rebuilt. It has new plugs, new fuel line from the tanks, even a new water pump, which I would think is unrelated to this problem. Any thoughts???
