Wiring question

I bought switch panel the other day in an effort to rewire the boat. The Neg side is all set I just run my wires to the accessory, what is the best/most common way the positive side is wired? Is it in series like x mass lights or is there a better way?

Here is a diagram for a basic fuse panel, switch, light, and battery. Although the diagram shows a light, that can be any 12 volt device. Each circuit should be protected by a fuse. If you need more detail, check the "Generic Boat Wiring Diagram" sticky at the top of this forum,
