Morning Gang,

My Trim Reservoir seems to be leaking, so I'm looking for a replacement.

I understand there is a single screw type, and one with 4 screws that attach the pump/motor. Mine is located in a tricky spot for viewing...

My drive is a 1999 Alpha I gen II drive SN: OL448413

My Engine is a 1999 3.0L SN: OL337309

Can I determine what type of reservoir I have from these SN's, or do I need to remove the pump assy?

If I have the single screw type, I hear there is a update kit with new pump, but sounds expensive. Should I update or just get replacement reservoir?

If I have the 4 screw type I'll just get the replacement...

Thanks in advance!

Howdy,

Take a look at Doug russells, or other Mercruiser parts site...

You can see pictures there of the trim pump.

Example

Per your S/N...The reservior pn is 18525A 1, which is the single screw type. The pn for the o-ring between reservior and pump is 17645.

Thanks dudes!

Hey Zachman,

How did you find PN using my SN? Just curious?
