'72 65hp lower unit lost fish line,where's hole

My line came off the shift cables to pull them back up. I can't see the hole/gromet to get another line down. What do I have to take off to access this hole?,or best advice from here please.Thanks.

No need to remove anything that I can recall. The hole will be on the starboard (right) side of the powerhead, near the rear portion of the powerhead.

Use a good beam flashlight to locate that hole..... it's there.
