Anyone have any hints or suppliers so I can rebuild the back bench seat on my Cobalt

The wood has all rotted away and as the back of the boat is slightly curved, it will involve shaping. Didn't know if there was an aftermarket supplier out there. Seat is bench style and covers engine compartment.
Thanks

Duplicate the wood and the curve then get it covered. Depending on where you live it is easier to have the wood made then have someone make the seat.

Making a curved seat with plywood and fiberglass is time consuming but very much a DIY project.

A lot of the time, you can actually find wood that is already...err shaped...its called warped plywood and most likely you can get a little discount on it. Just look at the bunks of wood on the shelves at Home Depot, they will usually be the pieces that are on top or laying on the floor! Then all you have to do it a little framing behind it to duplicate the shape that is there now, glass and go!
