Can you tell me if the shift rod issue has become a non issue on later models? At what year can one buy a large Yamaha and not have to think about the nightmare of changing a rusty shift rod? What HP range is the issue to? I'm thinking of buying another boat and don't want to deal with this again if I can avoid it, thanks
