Default yamaha 115 four stroke starter battery

I want to get a my battery on my 115 four stroke . I dont know the starter current and I don't have the manual for it . can you use a deep cell / starting type of battery with that engine .

Yes you can start that motor with a deep cycle battery.

Autozone has marine starter batteries that are just fine. your motor owner's manual mentions a battery with "minimum cranking amps" required. I usually buy one that has "cranking amps" a bit over-sized just to have a little extra for those cold morning starts when the motor doesn't want to wake up early. not a bad idea to put your battery on a 2 amp overnight charger when your motor hasn't been run for a couple of weeks, just to keep it fully charged, for more confident starting. You can also download your manual from the Yamaha website- very useful.
