I Have a 1993 indy bravo with a 3.0 omc cobra the problem is I cracked the block this winter took it to the local marina to have replacement motor put in. paid $1700 so far ... they installed a 1988 3.0 But Used My electronic ignition. Now We Cant Get the Motor To Advance The Timeing ... Found Top dead Center Today , Put New Pickup coil In. Replaced The Ignition Module With Different One, Pulled The distributer Again Its Not bent Everything Is New Used The Shunt To time It In Gear @ 600 Rpm Will not Advance @ 3200 rpm in neutral maybe 12 degrees @ 600 rpm its 0 Anybody know what the problem may be cant keep dumping money in it.. marina cant figure it out either everyones at wits end Thanks Carl....
