Ok I am still getting a constant alarm at over 3/4 to full throttle. Here is what I have done so far. Please chime in if I'm missing something.
1. Changed out the fuel line from tank to motor and from motor to fuel filter
2. Both fuel separator filter and fuel filter at the motor
3. Taken out the fuel pick up out of the gas tank and everything is good to include vent and fittings
4. Changed out the Thermostats in case it was an overheating alarm
5. Unplugged the vacuum sensor to see if it would still alarm ( was told this would tell if it was fuel or overheating) the alarm still went off.
6. I can touch the heads for about 20-30 seconds before I have to move my fingers after the alarm.
7. I will be replacing the fuel bulb with an Johnson one today.

So the only other thing that I am going to do is replace the heat sensors on each head. Is there anything else I need to do to try to figure out why this is happening???

its not heat related, I think its got too many dang filters.
Try it on a small test gas tank ( I used a gas can with someone holding the fuel line).

Re: 150 OR Constant Alarm Part 2

Yankee, What year is that motor? Different years have different alarms. Most all have oil level and overheat alarms. Some have no oil at VRO Pump alarms. Others have fuel restriction alarms as well.

It would appear that you are not having a fuel restriction alarm, since you disconnected the vacuum sensor. Since you can touch the head, the motor is not overheating. That leaves low oil, which could be a faulty sensor since you filled the tank, right? It could also be no oil at VRO pump, or it could be bad sensor wiring. I recommend you disconnect the other sensor wires sequentially and figure out which one it is. You might run some premix in a remote tank while troubleshooting.

The last run I did I bypassed the fuel separator which only left the filter that goes into the motor and still alarmed. I'm taking it back out on Friday with a gas can only test to see if that changes anything.

Chris, it's a 1995 Ocean Runner 150, according to the sticker by the wheel it has 4 alarms. I think these are the alarms or at the 2 constant alarms are correct. I will have to look at them tonight to see what the other two are.

Alarm Tones:
Overheat - continuous tone
No Oil - continuous short pulses
Low Oil - short pulse every 40 seconds
Fuel Restriction - continuous alarm at or near full throttle
