We have a 305 228 hp mercruiser in our 1979 Formula. It does not seem to have much power getting out of the water. After planing (which is tough) it will run for a bit at wot and then just die out. It does not seem to be getting fuel. Most of the time it will start right away after it dies and sometimes it has to sit a couple of minutes.It idles fine. This happened last weekend. The weekend before it ran great! This boat has not been run much in the last few years. The guy who had it before took it out about 3-4 times a year. One more thing, the motor always seems to be moist????? Any ideas on the issue?
