First let me thank all the contributers who share their knowlege to help people save tons of money by supplying information to repair our boats. Til now I've been fortinate enough to find all of my boats needed repairs already addressed....that was til now.
I have a 1987 40HP Mariner, electric start. I need to splice the wires coming from the motor 7 pin/7 wires
to this Mercury control from my old 1982 40HP Mercury it has 12 wires and had a 8-pin plug I think the other 4 wires were for the trim or something like that, here are those wires
I either need to know which wires connect to each other, or guidance to wiring diagrams for both.
