i have a 1977 mckee craft that i am starting to restore. It has numerous holes all over the hull topside that need filling in. The majority of the holes are old screw holes from accesories and trolling motor etc.. What would be the best filler that can be sanded easy to use to repair the holes before i prime and paint. I was sold marine-tex epoxy putty at west marine but somebody told me this is hard to sand. I need to fill in about twenty or thirty holes. Please somebody let me know what to use .

Marine Tex is tougher to sand than gel coat or other types of fillers, but it will work.
