I pulled the 270 upper so I could check the u joints and get the bellhousing out. Well, the ujoints look like they sat at the bottom of the sea for a while, they are covered in rust. The Previuos Owner had replaced the bellows and had the upper re sealed because of bad belllows. But the u joints and jyoke are rusted. My question is, should I replace the just ujoints, or, is this like the Alpha drives and when the yoke rusts it will tear up the seals and caues the oil to leak?
In which case I will buy a new upper and rebuild mine for a spare.
