Gas Leak on 25HP Merc

I have a 25 HP Merc serial #OB22930 that starts and runs good but when you push in the choke gas squirts out of the right side(looking at the motor) of the fuel pump(I think it's the fuel pump) from a small hole and when you tip the motor up it also leaks gas at that time. Any help being unemployed will be appreciated.

First of all that is a 1987 motor. Now you need to learn port and starboard so there is never any doubt what side you are talking about. When you say looking at the motor we don't know if you are looking from the front or the rear. You need to determine where the fuel is coming from exactly. That motor uses an enrichner to prime the motor and it may just be a bad hose.

The gas is coming from a small hole on the port side of the fuel bowel cover, item #9 in the exploded carburetor view from the Crowley Marine site.
When you push the choke in you can see the gas come from this hole. I also checked all the hoses in this area and found no cracks.
