kill switch on old einvrude

due to a recent incident. it made me realize that i need to add a safety kill swtich to my motor incase i may fall out. any ideas on how to how much?

i already got a kill button on my motor 1959 einvrude 10hp

Not familiar with your engine but I bought a lanyard man over board switch made by Sea Dog. It has two sets of contacts, normally open and normally closed. The nice part was I removed the factory kill switch and the Sea Dog fit perfectly in the same hole on both my 9.9 and my 9.5. Hopefully it will fit in yours as well. I haven't had any incidents but you never know when these things might happen. Best of luck. Rick.
