Hi, I have a 1992 75HP Mercury Mariner engine that I replaced the electronic components late last year (stator, voltage regulator, switchbox and trigger). Engine has never ran as smooth as that since I got it 4 years ago. Thanks all for your help regarding this problem.
However, I noticed earlier this season that when the 2 stroke oil lever in the oil tank is low, I don't get the audible warning anymore. The audible warning comes from the throttle assembly and I know the beeper is still working because when I turn the ignition on, it beeps once (not related the oil level).
Anybody knows where I should start looking for the cause of the problem?
