Default using nada for buying a used boat

i have been looking at used boats for a couple of years now. back when the economy was doing good, it seemed like about 10% over nada was the norm. now with the economy in the gutter 14-16% over is the norm. i'll admit that i am being a creep and trying to use the bad economy to get the most boat for the least cabbage. i'm in so. cal and this region is more expensive than most. the deals just don't seem to be out there right now. maybe this winter.

Nothing wrong with trying to save money. Make offers based on what you are willing to pay, not the asking price. There's a lot of motivated sellers out there.

thats what i was thinking, i'm not a motivated buyer. i have a 74 glastron 185that my dad bought new and i can't bring myself to get rid of it, i cant get a new one until i do (parking). i thought of restoring her but i am tired of the tri hull. hoping my good friend buys a house with a yard, i would give it to him so i could look at the old girl from time to time. been boating in it since i was 4 years old.
