on my 82 boat, it seems to be a bit easier to steer to the left and it tends to wander that way almost exclusively when you let go of the wheel. Is there a way to adjust trim tabs or something on those lines? I looked over the outdrive and there does not appear to be anything adjustable..thanks.

In the picture below, #4 is the trim tab you need to adjust. Loosen 5 and turn it a little one way or the other to equalize the steering. It will be a trial and error adjustment.

o thats a lot simpler than I thought, I can actually do that while out on the lake. (raise the outdrive, and adjust!) ..I will try it and report if I was successful or not. thanks.!

yes that did the trick. second time adjusting its drives straight and true. the piece is def not straight, but I guess if the boat rides true it shouldnt matter..
