Default 59 evinrude 9.9 Crank blow out

during running I am getting crank exhaust (fuel) blowing out the port with the arrow pointing to it.

at that time I was using 50:1 have not tried it since with 24:1

I assume it is a 59 as the cover says golden jubilee on it and I was told it was a 9.9. What are you thoughs on this motor, and why am I getting thie blow out.

On the port (left) transom bracket, there should be a small plate with the model and serial number imprinted into it. What is that model number so that we know what we're speaking about?

There was no 9.9hp in 1959.

Also back away from that portion of the engine somewhat and take another picture so that we know just exactly where that leaking port is.

It is a 1959 10hp that somebody has converted from a pressure tank to a fuel pump. They neglected to plug the pressure fitting that you are pointing to. Just plug it, it isn't being used anymore.

That lower unit looks more like a 5-1/2 to me. Either way, it should be run on 24:1. They didn't start 50:1 until '64, I think.

Look for a core plug on the powerhead..... looks like a quarter size freeze out plug. That should also have those numbers on it.
