I had electrolysis severely damage my outdrive. Question is will a 37' 1986 Harbor Master (with a volvo penta motor and outdrive) houseboat perform ok with a single prop outdrive? We cannot find a used dual prop and don't want to pay 16k for a new one. We found a single prop that will need a spacer for depth. Any info appreciated.

I would think it would be fine. The majority of houseboats out there are running single prop drives.

Thanks, I think we found am good single prop replacement. Now I'm just waiting for the estimate from the boatyard.
