Does anyone know what a good compression reading is on a Kohler pro-drive motor is? I am having a problem with the motor not running all the way up on the rpm's and I want to start by checking the compression first. I am thinking it is probly a carb. or even a govener problem, but someone on here has any ideas just let me know. Thanks

It is a pro-drive motor. They use them in the swamps to go into shollow water. They are air cooled so there is no need for anykind of water pick ups. It is a type of outboard.

Never heard it called a Pro Drive. I always heard them called Go-Devils.

I would think anything around 100 lbs psi would be good.
It will surely run on less.If its a twin, cylinders need to be within 10%.
