buzzing still?

i just got my boat out of the shop for an impeller change and took it out fishing and the buzzer still comes on but sometimes it will just turn off or i have to turn the motor off and wait a minute before starting again,is this a faulty buzzer or is there something else going on?the motor is a 1981 140hp evinrude,thanks for yalls help

its one long continous buzzing,it doesnt do it all the time it just comes on and off when it wants to.

The 1981 140 does not have anything but an continuous overheat alarm.

You most likely have a short in the tan wire on the way to the helm. Check the harness where it bends frequently, also clean inside the large red plug, and make sure that the tan wires at the cylinder heads are as far from the spark plug wires as possible.
