Learned a valuable lesson today. As to contrary belief you can start your kicker if you don't take it out of the water wile using your other boat motor. This happen to me today when i shut down my main motor and the kicker drove me into shore. Needles to say it surprised me big time. No damage but a bruised ego.

Wow! Never heard of someone jumpstarting a boat motor before!
Glad nothing more dire didn't happen and you weren't stopping to avoid rocks or something!

It was kinda like shut down the big motor and what the as i looked back and scrambled to shut it down. At about the same time i hit shore.Definitely caught me off guard.
