I own a 1998 Johnson 3 cyl 25 hp. The motor is only running on 1 or 2 cylinders.
When I pulled the plugs there was very bright blue spark, but just not consistently.
Every second or third pull on the cors when I turned the motor over, there is no spark. The missed spark seems to alternate between the three cylinders. So there is enough spark to keep the motor running, but only on one or two cylinders at any one time. SO IT HAS NO POWER.
Coils are fine, plugs are fine, right kind and gapped properly.
Any thoughts.???
