I bought a boat with a MerCruiser 5.0 last year. While running it this season it seems to make a clunking noise while running at any speed. The motor is not missing or changing RPM. I suspect that it has something to do with the Impeller or Water Intake. It just makes a noise. Where do I find info on replacing whatever it is??

I would buy an OEM manual. But take a good look at your gimbal joint first.
