Alright guys! I've got a 1996 50hp triple (j50dtledc). My question is how smooth should this thing idle? It idles a little shaky and shakes a little at lower rpms like up to 1500, after that smooth as can be. It doesn't die or anything just shakes. The carbs have been cleaned the idle timing is at 8 atdc, the idle is at the right rpms, new plugs. Maybe the shake is normal for this motor, I'm not sure. I had a mariner 50 before and it ran smoother. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.
