My power tilt acted up this am at the ramp. It would tilt down but not up. Down was normal, up and there was no noise and no activity. Acts like the switch, right? Naturally, once under way, it started working again and it is still working fine so it makes it hard to troubleshoot. Should I just replace the switch since I can't really test it while its working? I don't want to get caught out without a tilt.
The battery is brand new and fully charged
all the rest of the systems on the boat are fine. I keep it maintained pretty well for an old boat as I use it on Lake Michigan and Lake Erie.
