Engine will stop running after using up gas from primer bulb.

new bulb, new plugs, good gas eliminated VRO

pump more gas with bulb and that's how long she'll run

I'm thinking fuel pump please what are the possibilities here?

Is it sucking the bulb in? If so, I'd doubt it's the fuel pump. Possibly the tank vent is not open or something, or something is partially clogging the fuel line from the tank to the bulb, or something is blocking the pick up in the tank; making it so you can prime the bulb, but the motor can't suck hard enough to draw fuel in.
If the bulb is not deflating or being sucked in when this happens, then I would lean towards fuel pump as well.

is arrow on bulb pointing toward the motor?
